Willie Moore

January 24, 1930 — February 19, 2020

Willie Mae Moore was born Willie Mae Perkins on January 24, 1930 to Luther Fountain &

Hattie Mae Perkins in Waco Texas; she went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Willie Mae was an only child, and went on to have nine (9) children of her own, which she loved dearly.

She met and married her beloved husband, Will Rogers Moore in 1977, (who proceeded her in death in 2018) and to this union she adopted his two (2) children.

Willie Mae had a love for God and was member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, under Pastor David Rhee, for 20+ years. She had zest for life and left her wisdom, love, and kind heartedness with everyone she came in contact with.

Willie Mae loved to cook especially her Sunday Dinners, along with playing cards and dominoes with family and friends; and in her later days, enjoyed playing her poker game as her favorite pass time.

She was lovingly known as: Momma, Mommy, Mom, Grandma, Granny Boo Boo, and Nana.

Grandma has joined our Angels watching over us, and dancing in the clouds with, Portia Lynn Singh, Auntie Terri, Ronald “Duce” Green II, and Will Rogers Moore (Grandpa).

Willie Mae was passionate about her family and keeping them together, which lead to her

raising and/or adopting her grandchildren: Damon, Rochelle, Cedric, Olivia and Demetric.

She leaves to mourn her children: Jerrald, Patrina, Rochelle, Gregory, Robin, Terri (who proceeded her in death), Christopher, Timothy, and David wife Alicia; thirty 30 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; also Anthony and April and from them 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; Sister/Friend Diane “Auntie Tootie” Adams; and a host of extended family and friends.

Willie Mae Moore was the “MATRIARCH” of her family and laid the foundation for all of “US”

to Live Life; so we must embrace her Legacy and be great!!

She was adored, loved, cherished, admired, and will be greatly missed by all!
