A visitation/reception will follow at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park for those who would

Growing up in Livingston Montana, Bill attended St. Mary’s School for grades 1-8 and then
went on to Park Senior High School. After high school graduation, he was accepted to Eastern
Montana College in his hometown of Billings and there he received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Education. As a young man, he began to grab hold of many passions before entering
into the workforce. This consisted of weight/power lifting, football and discus. In football, he
was awarded All American. As time went by, power lifting became more serious for Bill when
he started walking away with many awards and recognition for his unique strength and abilities.
Something he always proudly shared with others. He would often show off his muscles more
than his trophies. Eventually, he got a Teaching job in Hermiston, Oregon. There he would
empower students minds. Something he really loved but deep down he felt like he was being
called elsewhere. Despite the urge to shift his direction for work, he never stopped nurturing his
love of weight lifting and sports no matter what was on the horizon.
After teaching, Bill decided to pursue new opportunities within the financial industry and
relocated to Spokane, Washington. There he became a licensed Broker for Richards Merrill and
Peterson Brokerage for a short period of time. Then an opportunity at Merrill Lynch came
knocking! Bill became immersed in the industry and just like that he would meet the love of his
life, Ingrid. They had an instant connection that turned into an everlasting love affair and
friendship. They were married in 1983.
By 1987, they proudly welcomed their son Chase and began a new chapter of parenthood. Bill
loved his family and travel. He took his wife and son on countless trips to Hawaii, Whistler, Italy
and Germany to visit Ingrid’s family. Just to name a few.
As Bill settled into fatherhood and being a husband, he found yet another passion for the
movies. It was always there but one day he got himself an RCA camcorder and it was all over.
He was a natural at capturing life through the eyes of a Director. He absolutely loved filming
and was obsessed with the fun of Halloween and decorating. He became the neighborhood
pro and started a tradition of the spookiest house on the block. It was so elaborate and
professional that it even made it onto the Seattle local news.
The family would like to extend our warmest thanks to all the friends and family members. We
love you all so much.
