February 23, 2021 8:53 AMMr Tony Ortega was a great man. I spent a lot of time at the Ortega house growing up it was my second home. Tony & Chris always treated me like one of their kids. I would hangout at the house with them go visit family with them Tony’s & Chris’s go camping to the swapmeet with them Azusa canyon just to hangout for the day. Tony would take us cruising in the 65 impala and when we got older he lent it to us to cruise Garvey in our neighborhood. One time I had problems at home and I left. My Dad went to talk to Tony and asked him if would be ok for me to stay with them until I was ready to go home because he knew I was safe there at the Ortega house. And of course Tony said yes. To y was like a step father to me and he’s going to be missed. ML&R Tony RIP love you.
