Sidney Mcknight

Sidney De’Trae McKnight was born on September 28, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Tracy and Freda McKnight. Sidney departed this life by force on January 8, 2020, he was a victim of a heinous crime.  Sidney graduated from Foothills High School in 2012 and attended College of Southern Nevada in pursuit of a certification in mechanics.  Sidney worked in the restaurant industry as well as the entertainment industry and until Sidney’s departure his worked at Amazon as a warehouse associate.

Sidney was a sweet, gentle person; he was a quiet and strong individual and he kept to himself.  He loved spending time with his family and watching funny videos on YouTube. He enjoyed playing video games and watching comedy television. He also loved going to the gym.  His family would testify that he was a joy to be around and will truly be missed.

Sidney leaves to cherish his memory his mother Freda Roberts (Willie), father Tracy McKnight (Thomasina), his brothers Tracy McKnight, Deon McKnight and, Deveaughn Bennett; sisters India Bennett, Imari Reed and Sianna Hill, 2 nieces Lah’Ky and Jazz McKnight and a godmother and father, Yolanda and James Bennett.  He also leaves a host of uncles, aunts and cousins, most of who live in Las Vegas, Nevada or surrounding areas.
