Sammy Rios Gonzales Jr.

Sammy Rios Gonzales (Boy), 53 of Santa Clara NM, passed away on March 16, 2023 at Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas NV.

Sammy Gonzales was born In Silver City NM to Rosie and Sammy Gonzales on October 22, 1969.

Sammy attended Cobre high school and had many friends and family that loved him. He obtained a certificate in welding throughout his teen years. Sam worked for Blakes in silver for an extended period of time while living in New Mexico and was very proud of being able to make the best burgers in town. He was always ready to drink a beer and eat a burger. Although he did have a troubled past he loved with all his heart and had a blast living his life to the fullest.

Sammy is preceded in death by His Grandfather Clarito Gonzales, Grandmother Mary Gonzales, Grandmother Lupe Pas, Grandfather Alfredo Pas, Father Sam Gonzales, Sister Stella Legarda, Niece Angela Arellin, Mom Rosie Gonzales and Uncle Joe (Pepe) Barraza.

Sam Gonzales is survived by his children Rebecca Anderson (Husband Fred Anderson), Samantha Gonzales, Isabella Galvadon, Analisa Galvadon, Ilijah Galvadon, Mary Galvadon, Lidia Galvadon, and Step Son Eddie Lopez  Siblings - Mary Marin (Husband Steven Marin), Lisa Campbell (Husband Anthony Campbell), Lupe Gonzales, Rosie Gonzales ( Husband Ryan Fisher).  He also had many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins, and many more who all loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home located at 1401 S Rainbow Blvd Las Vegas NV 89146. Celebration of life will be held directly after the funeral service at Sunset Park located at 2601 Sunset road Las Vegas NV 89120. We will have food and will be spreading his ashes around our family memorial tree.

The family of Sammy wishes to extend our sincere thanks to, Mountain view hospital staff and all of his family who have helped him out through the years.
