Lynette and Heather, thanks for sharing your memories. I enjoyed reading them. He was competitive. I remember a drawing contest we had. I think we both did well but I know he thought his was the winner. We both enjoyed art and liked to draw. I also remember when we went to Cowboy Christmas and he bought his Stetson Hat, which he wore proudly. Should've been a COWBOY! It's nice to recall things.
The last Goodbye is the hardest to say, and this is where the Cowboy rides away. (from George Strait)

One of my first memories of Scott was playing Chess. I wasn't very good, yet I won. If he hadn't been so frustrated, I may have thought he let me win. Maybe he just had his guard down, thinking I was an easy target! Later in life, Scott and I would get together to play miniature golf or have dinner with our spouses. It was nice having one of my siblings close enough to visit regularly.
It's so sad to lose someone so young. Our loss will be felt for a long time, although he remains in our hearts and minds. He loved his family and served his country well. May you all find peace and healing in your heart.

I’m so very saddened by Scott’s passing. Love to everyone… Praying for all of you to find peace, comfort, and healing… Most of all, I pray that everyone knows Jesus as his or her personal Lord and Savior.
