Justito Alcon

Justito Galutira Alcon 71 years old of Bgy. 37 Calayab, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines passed away February 17, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Justito G. Alcon was born in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Paulino Lagua Alcon and Mercedes Suguitan Galutira, (both deceased), on August 18, 1949.  Has 3 siblings:  Francisco, Jovencia and Rafael; (all deceased).

He had an Elementary Education in Santa Rosa Elementary School, Sarrat, Ilocos Norte.  He graduated Highschool from Bacarra Comprehensive High School, Bacarra, Ilocos Norte.  He had achieved 1 year of College Education in Manila once enrolled in Civil Engineering.

From then on, he chose to go on to the military due to poverty and the likes to help his country.  He entered the Armed Forces of the Philippines in 1972 had successful training after which he was assigned to the Philippine Constabulary and worked at the Philippine Military Academy, Baguio City, Philippines. He had different positions but stayed long as head of the Communications Group at Mansion House, Baguio City and Malacañang of the North at Currimao and Paoay, Ilocos Norte. He was a military man in mind and body from 1972 to 1988. He was a member of the Philippine Veterans Association. They migrated with family to Honolulu, Hawaii last August in 1988. T2 as fondly called by friends and relatives was married to Nellie Menor Bumanglag of Brgy. 5 Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, gifted with 3 kids: Junen Charles, Ma. Alma and Justito II “Jay”.

Junell is married to Cargeline Bitagon having a 7-year-old daughter Princess Lynell, living in Brgy 37 Calayab, Laoag City. Alma is married to Elgin Sanchez Rueda with 2 sons: Shea – 16 years old and Matteo – 11 years old in Chula Vista, USA. Justito II “Jay” married to Jessica Agonoy with 3 children: Nathaniel Colt- 11 years old, Emma – 6 years old, Emily – 1 year and 11 months. They live in Kapolei, Hawaii, USA.

Memorial Services will be held on March 13, 2021 Saturday at 10:30 am at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89146.
