Dorothy Shaddy

Dorothy Bair/Palmer Shaddy, age 89, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away peacefully on May 21, 2020 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Provo, Utah to Fannie Green and Ervan Bair on September 16, 1930.

Dorothy married Kenneth Robert Shaddy on October 31, 1951 and was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple June 01, 1964.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Dorothy was active in politics during 1960 when she met and shook hands with President John F. Kennedy.

She was active all of her life in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and devoted her life to serving many, many callings.

She loved her family and all who knew her say it was like getting a warm hug just to visit with her,

She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Shaddy; daughter, Sulinda; grandson, John and her parents.

Dorothy is survived by children: Larry Shaddy (Maria), Kathleen Gump (Terry), Christine Neese, Maxine Waite (Lanny) and Robert Shaddy (Lachelle).  She is survived also by thirteen grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers at her Graveside Service will be Robert, Larry, Lanny, Robbie, Justin, Bobby, Ryan, Jason, Kyle, Dino, Tim and Billy
