Daniel Mahony

Daniel "Dan" Mahony, 81, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on April 17, 2023. Daniel was born on March 23, 1942 in Detroit, MI.  Daniel is survived by his wife Katherine; daughters Patricia Neese, Brenda Shultz, Jean Mahony, and Diana Harouff; and six grandchildren. Daniel was the son of Leo and Marvel Mahony who preceded him in death.

Daniel retired from his law enforcement career in January 1997; he also served as a City Councilman in North Las Vegas for four year from 1973 to 1977.   Daniel was an active member of his community, volunteering regularly and making a positive impact. He also enjoyed spending time with family, traveling to Ireland and attending family reunions, as well as golfing and socializing with friends.
