Constance Poling

CONSTANCE LYON POLING CONSTANCE LYON POLING - Connie Poling, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home at Delmar Gardens of Green Valley on December 1st. She was born August 22, 1933 in Highland Park, MI to Dean and Margaret Lyon where she met her husband Daniel Y. Poling. Connie and Dan married in 1952 and moved to Pittsburgh, PA and gave birth to their son Dean. In 1972 they moved to the Lehigh Valley in PA where Connie earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Cedar Crest College and worked as Director of Word Processing for Air Products & Chemicals. In 1990 the couple retired in Boulder City, where Connie was very active in community events and in 2004 was the proud recipient of the “Bill Andrews Award” in recognition of her volunteer leadership with Boulder City’s Green Team. She is survived by her son Dean Poling and his wife Donna and many nieces and nephews. Connie will be buried in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery beside Dan, her loving husband of 61 years.
