Antonio Diaz

Antonio Cruz Diaz, 64 , of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Thursday, July 02, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Antonio was born on Tinian in the Mariana Islands to Fernando Untalan Diaz & Elizabeth Cruz Diaz on September 13, 1955.

Antonio met Doris Irene Petri, his wife while stationed in West Germany where they had their 1st daughter Sandra. Then stationed in Killeen, Texas they had 2nd daughter Christina. Then stationed in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and had their 3rd daughter Pamela. Last stop Las Vegas, Nevada where they resided and had their 4th daughter Victoria. Antonio was a very strong  man that never judged a soul of anything they did but always welcomed everyone into his home with open arms and made sure you had a hot meal. He was a well respected man and a father figure to many young men.  He served 10 of the proudest  years in the U.S. Army and retired from the United States Postal Service in 2013.

Antonio  is survived by His wife Doris, his 4 daughters Sandra, Christina, Pamela & Victoria and his Grandchildren, Antonio, Taimone, Jonathan, Kaylani, Jaeda, Alexsa, Iyanah & Tianah.

Rosary  began at 19:00 pm Thursday, July 02, 2020 and will continue on until Friday, July 10, 2020 at our home 5268 Via De Palma Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89146.

Funeral services will be held 10:30am Thursday, July 16, 2020  at Davis Funeral Home with Fr. Tom Montelaro, retired priest, officiating.   Burial will follow at Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at 12:00pm. Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Antonio (Grandson), Jonathan (Grandson), Eric (Son-in-law), Pelenato (Son-in-law), Jared (Nephew), Jeff (Nephew), Karl (Step-Brother) & Christopher (Step-Brother)
