Aaron Manfredi

December 2, 1975 — April 28, 2023

Las Vegas

Aaron Shayne Manfredi, 47, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2023, in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. He was born on December 2, 1975, in Torrance, California. Aaron was a devoted partner, son, brother, friend, father, mentor, and always the life of the party. He was known for his fun, loving and caring personality.

Aaron enlisted in the US Navy in 1993 after graduating from Raton High School, New Mexico and proudly served four years. He was stationed on the aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson where he worked on the flight deck and was responsible for take-off and landing of Navy Fighter Jets. Contrary to what he led everyone to believe, he actually was not a navy fighter pilot. While on active duty he served during The Gulf War and was part of several campaigns including Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He then transitioned to the Navy Reserves and was attached to Naval Air Station Miramar, where the world-famous Top Gun school was located.

Aaron moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1998, began working for the airlines and became a father to his handsome son Bailey. What first started out as playing football on the tarmac, soon turned into winning multiple flag football championships over the next 7+ years. Aaron then began his career in Parole and Probation with Clark County in 2002. The many years ahead were filled successfully with building non-profit organizations for Autism and Aspergers, being an advocate for Military Veterans, a teaching career in the Clark County school district, a decade long entrepreneurship in Landscape Design, many Real Estate adventures and even dabbling in politics.

Aaron had many friends and was a devoted colleague in UNLV. He was a hard-working individual who always went above and beyond his duties. Aaron worked hard to reach his goal of pursuing higher education. Being a first-generation college student was challenging and he had to work twice as hard to earn his degree. But one degree wasn’t enough for Aaron, eventually earning multiple degrees including two master’s degrees. Aaron’s resilience throughout any situation is what made him so inspirational to so many people. Most recently he was president of the UNLV Alumni Rebel Vets and Board of Director for the Las Vegas chapter of Folds of Honor. He never left anyone behind and always lived a life of service.

Aaron leaves behind his partner Kristi Weidauer, stepdaughter Kyrin Weidauer and stepson Kyle Weidauer, all of Las Vegas, father Albert Manfredi of Bullhead City, AZ, sister Michelle Manfredi of Albuquerque, NM, Grandmother Cecelia Manfredi of Raton, NM, uncle Mark Manfredi of Bullhead, AZ, aunt Linda Martin of Yucaipa, CA, uncle Paul Martin of Palm Springs, CA, cousins Mark Christopher Manfredi of Floresville, TX, Santina Pileggi of Camas, WA, and Josh Manfredi of Vancouver, WA, and nephews, Adrian Mirabal, Xavier and Adarius Mirabal, and Julian Quintana, all of Albuquerque. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather Albert Manfredi, Sr., his mother Robyn Lee Manfredi and his son, Bailey Joshua Manfredi. Aaron also leaves behind his kitties Princess and Precious and his beloved Maltipoo, Ariel.

Aaron will be deeply missed by his family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. His legacy will live on through the laughter, love and memories he created with those around him for decades to come.
