William “Bill” Tonas 

Age 92 

William “Bill” Tonas passed away peacefully at the age of 92. He is now reunited with his beloved sister Katherine Henderson and brother George Tonas, who he loved dearly throughout his life. Born to Costas and Regina Tonas, Bill lived a life completely on his own terms. After serving honorably in the Army during the 1950s, he embraced a life of adventure and independence; traveling the world, living in dream locations like Palm Springs, Las Vegas, and along the East Coast. Wherever he went, he collected memories, friends, and stories that enriched his remarkable journey. Bill shared a special bond with his sister Katherine, with whom he spent much of his adult life, and his brother George, whom he spoke to daily until the very end. He stayed in constant communication with his closest relatives and cherished time spent laughing and talking with family. Known for his sharp intellect, quick wit, and magnetic charisma, Bill was loved by all who knew him. He was tough as nails on the outside but soft-hearted within a man whose presence left everyone wiser and better for having met him. 

He is survived by his nephews George, Costas, and Jim Tonas, who carry on his legacy of warmth, wisdom, and strength. 

Bill’s smile, humor, and love of life will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
