In Loving Memory of Vicki Marne Johnson (Maiden Name Edwards)

Vicki Marne Johnson, maiden name Edwards, passed away at the age of 71. A resident of Henderson, Nevada, Vicki was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and lived a life marked by love, creativity, determination, and devotion to family.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Afton Edwards, and her brothers, Bill Edwards and Freddie Edwards.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Corey Hendrickson, Jeremy Hendrickson, and Heidi Hendrickson; her sisters, Connie Simister, Annette Helming, and Susan Edmondson; her 11 grandchildren; and her 3 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought tremendous joy and purpose to her life.

Vicki had a gift for making a house feel like home. She loved baking and cooking and was known for creating treats that brought people together. Christmas was especially dear to her heart-she delighted in decorating for the season and making special Christmas sweets and goodies to share with family and friends. She also had a bit of a sweet tooth herself, something that brought smiles and became part of the memories people will cherish.

Creative and talented with her hands, Vicki enjoyed sewing clothes and memorable Halloween costumes and found joy in the art of cross-stitching, creating handmade pieces that reflected her patience, care, and attention to detail. She took pride in keeping her yard and flowerbeds immaculate, creating spaces of beauty and welcome.

Vicki also devoted herself to her children during their younger years and was actively involved in Cub Scouts as a den mother, helping create experiences, memories, and opportunities for growth and adventure. Her willingness to invest her time and energy into her family left a lasting impact that continues today.

Among her favorite places were the beach and the shoreline, where she enjoyed peaceful walks and collecting seashells. Though small in stature, Vicki carried a spirited and feisty nature when needed-showing strength, determination, and a willingness to stand firm for the people and things she loved.

Vicki's life was reflected in the traditions she created, the meals and treats she shared, the beauty she cultivated, the crafts she lovingly made, and the time she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue in Christmas traditions, homemade desserts, stitched keepsakes, seashell collections, family adventures, and the countless acts of love that defined her life.

Though she is no longer with us, the warmth she created, the traditions she established, and the love she gave so generously will continue through the generations that follow.

She will be forever loved and remembered.
