Ronald Russell Roberts, age 74, of Las Vegas, NV died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday morning, August 1, 2021 after battling many health issues over the past few years.

Ron was born in Minneapolis, MN on March 24, 1947.  He grew up in St. Louis Park, MN and graduated high school in 1965.  He began a career in the pizza business starting out as a cook and eventually owning a few pizzerias in MN. Later he switched careers to sales of cars, mobile homes and timeshares.  Before he retired, his favorite sales job was selling spices to restaurants and deli shops in Las Vegas.

In 1989 Ron met Jean, the love of his life.  They were married in July, 1990.  He was a devoted husband and loving father to Jean’s son Tim.  Ron and Tim were “best buddies”.

Ron is survived by his wife, Jean, son Tim, brother-in-law Kevin, nephew Jack, his wife Kelly, their daughters Sara and Savannah, and his Uncle Thomas Stano along with several cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lorraine Roberts, his Aunt Delores Stano, sister-in-law Rita, Jean’s parents and other relatives.

Ron, Jean and Tim moved to Las Vegas in 1999 and enjoyed all Las Vegas had to offer.  Ron loved to socialize and meet new people.  He had many adventures during his life and loved to share his stories or a good joke.

Ron was a member of The Men’s Club in Sun City Summerlin for several years.

Ron requested that no services be held and his family is honoring that request.  His final resting place will be at the Davis Memorial Park facing the mountains which was one of his favorite outside views.
