ROBERT YAMBAO BROWN

It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Robert Yambao Brown, aka Papa, who departed this life on May 14, 2026, at the age of 89, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on October 14, 1936, in Makati, Philippines, was the son of William Henry Brown and Juanita Yambao Brown. After leaving the Philippines and coming here to Las Vegas, he continued his education at Las Vegas High School and graduated with his master's at UNLV, he built his career in the food and beverage industry at many hotel casinos. Beyond his professional achievements, he will be remembered also as a Shotokan black belt instructor, president of the Filipino American Club and a waiter in the Hilton showroom for Elvis!

He is survived by his loving Children: Harold, Carolyn, Jeffrey, Rachel and Marvin

Cherished grandchildren: Joshua, Alecia, Bryce, Jasmine, Lauren, Cameron and Julian

Beautiful great grandchildren: Kaidan, William, Rustyn, Mila, Hunter, Hudson, Trystin and Torin.

Sisters: June, Lucille and Carla

He is preceded in death by his Parents: William Henry Brown & Juanita Yabao Brown-Fields,

Wife: Esther Basilio Brown

Brothers: Freddie, George and Paul
