Paul Julian Love Jr

Paul J. Love, Jr., 63, passed away on January 9, 2026, in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

Paul, known as “Lovey” to close family and friends, was born in San Diego, California, to Paul J. Love, Sr. and Lillian Love on January 28, 1962.

Over the next few years, his family moved to Michigan, and expanded to include twin brothers — Jeffery and Kenny — and little sister, April. As Lovey grew, so did his love for sports, especially football, basketball and golf.

After graduating from Loy Norrix High School, Lovey served in the U.S. Air Force, where he learned tech skills, and later worked on communications systems for various companies in California, Georgia, Tennessee and Nevada.

Lovey is most known for his huge heart, unparalleled charisma and magnetic sense of humor. He lived a life rich in laughter; forged lasting connections with people wherever he went; and remained steadfast, committed and always there for those he loved. He is survived by his parents; three siblings; and son, Dashon.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 24, from 12-5 p.m. at 4122 Cloudless Ave, North Las Vegas, NV 89081. Please call 678-979-8612 the day before for entrance instructions.
