Norville "Shaggy" Rogers

Norville "Shaggy" Rogers passed away on April 20, 2023, at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by his loved ones.

Shaggy was born on September 13, 1969, Coolsville, Ohio and had been working Mystery Inc since the tender age of 17. Despite of his fear of ghost-catching, he always felt secure with his best friend Scooby Doo by his side. Shaggy embarked on a trip to Spooky Island, and it was there that he found his beloved Mary Jane. Exhibiting an unshakable hunger, silliness, and love, Shaggy was so hungry that he mistook a costumed man wearing a hot dog costume for an actual walking hot dog.

Shaggy is survived by his Father Colton Rogers; Mother Paul Rogers; Wife Mary Jane; Sister Margaret "Maggie" Rogers (Husband Wilfred); Cousins Tawny Rogers and Betty Lou Shaggbilly; Uncles Nathaniel "Nat" Rogers and Dr. Albert Shaggleford; Friends Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, and Velma Dinkley, and Best Friend Scooby Doo.  A visitation and memorial service will be held for Shaggy on May 17th, 2023, at Davis Funeral Home - Rainbow, beginning at 2pm. Family and friends are encouraged to bring photos and share memories of Shaggy. Expressions of condolences and other family wishes can be shared at this time.
