It is with great remorse and sadness, that we announce Nicholas Joseph Ciancio, age 62 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on March 24, 2021 in his home in Las Vegas. Nicholas was born on August 29, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Evelyn and Frank Ciancio. Nick was the eldest child of Evelyn and Frank and he attended and graduated from Gordon Technical High School in Chicago, Illinois. Nick was previously married and has two daughters. Nick was a Numismatist who owned and operated a rare coin and money business that he absolutely loved. Through his business he traveled the country attending coin shows, auctions and other collector events that made up his life.
Nick is preceded in death by his Mother Evelyn (Tardi) Ciancio, his Father Frank Ciancio and sister Patricia Pardini.
Nicholas is survived by his two daughters Jennifer Nicole (Ciancio) Ronquillo and her husband Raymond Ronquillo. Jillian Michelle (Ciancio) Batchelor and her husband James Batchelor.
Nick has seven grandchildren, Isabella Lynn Batchelor(17), Natalie Isabella Palmer(16), Shane Keith Palmer II(16), Olivia Rose Batchelor(14), Jaxson James Batchelor(12), Dominic Raymond Ronquillo(9) and Roman Paul Ronquillo(7). Nick is also survived by his step-father Donald Pardini, brother Michael Pardini, brother Frank Ciancio, sister Juliana Zaremba, brother Ralph Ciancio as well as their respective families and our extended family.
Viewing for Nicholas will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 3:30 to 5:00PM.
Nick’s funeral service will immediately follow from 5:00-6:30PM.
Flowing the service, there will be a reception and meal from 6:30-8:00PM.
All events above will be hosted by the family at Davis Funeral Home, Rainbow Chapel 1401 South Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada. For those who cannot travel or do not wish to attend in person, the funeral service will be live streamed so you may join virtually.
On behalf of all Nick’s family, I would like to extend a very special, heartfelt thank you to Lisa Ross for the love, care and companionship she gave to Nick. We are forever grateful to Lisa for all she has done and continues to do to support our family.
As a devoted Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather and Friend, Nicholas will always be remembered for his caring, charismatic, easy going personality as well as his very distinct voice, mustache and infectious laugh. He will be forever be loved and missed, but never forgotten.
