Margaret Ann McGann

Margaret Ann McGann, 72, of North Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on March 20, 2024.

Margaret was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Olen James McGann and Eva Melvina McGann (Evans) on March 23, 1951.

Margaret was a graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School in Zion, Illinois. In 1976 she received a B.A. in Psychology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. In 1981 she received her M.B.A. from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. She spent her entire career in the pharmaceutical industry, starting her career in 1969 at Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago, Illinois. Margaret eventually left Abbott in 1994 to become a Product/Project Manager for several consulting firms, providing advice and support to various pharmaceutical companies. Margaret returned to Abbott in 2000 and retired in 2003, moving to North Las Vegas.

Margaret volunteered for Operation School Bell at the Assistance League of Las Vegas and for AARP, where she prepared tax returns for senior citizens.

Margaret is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Kenneth James McGann. Margaret is survived by her brother, David Wayne McGann of Littleton, Colorado, her in-laws, and many loving friends.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at a later date. A memorial to Margaret will be placed at Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder, Colorado. In place of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Assistance League of Las Vegas.
