In Loving Memory of
Marc Vibas
Also known as Kuya Buboy, Boy Utos, and lovingly called “Tart” by his wife
March 12, 1968 – July 15, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Marc Vibas, who entered eternal rest on July 15, 2025, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 57. Born in Iloilo, Philippines, Marc was a man full of warmth, humor, and strength.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ana Marie Vibas, and their three children: John Ed Mar, JoAnna Mari, and Johncel Marc. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to Noa and Nia, and father-in-law to Nikky Vibas.
He was a cherished son to Herly Vibas and the late Senen Vibas, and a loving brother to Artur, Gilbert, Acel, and Nhoie.
Marc was more than family to many; he was a second father to EJ “Bonyat," his bespren, and K-cie. His bond with her was special, and she proudly earned the title of "first eldest." K-cie's children, Jayce and Amerie, adored him as their best uncle, and he showered them with love and care. Despite his overprotectiveness, Marc fully accepted, loved, and welcomed Jeff (K-cie’s husband) into his heart. He was a father figure to them all, leaving a legacy of love, care, and devotion.
A devoted Security Officer, Marc was known not only for his strong work ethic but also for his love of basketball, anime, and his love for shopping in Temu. If you know, you know. Then there go his signature jokes that could light up any room, and the way he fiercely loved and protected his family. He lived by his faith, grounded in his Catholic upbringing, and remained a constant source of guidance, laughter, and unconditional love.
To know him was to laugh with him, to feel safe in his presence, and to witness the beauty of a man who put others before himself. Whether he was fixing things around his car, playfully smacking your bum, or teasing someone with his usual playful remarks—he made every day just a little bit better.
A private family viewing will be held on August 2 in Las Vegas. Cremation and memorial services will follow once final arrangements are complete.
Though we grieve his physical absence, his spirit will continue to live on in every joke told and every moment we carry his memory with love.
