Obituary

Loretta Baldwin

April 3, 1946 - August 4, 2026

Loretta Baldwin, born April 3, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on August 4, 2026.

Loretta was funny, feisty, stubborn, strong, and incredibly giving. She had a personality all her own and wasn't afraid to let you know exactly what she thought. If someone she cared about needed something, she would do whatever she could to help. Her strength carried her through many chapters of her life, and those who knew her will remember the humor, determination, and generosity that made Loretta who she was.

Loretta also had a deep love for animals throughout her life, especially horses. In her younger years, she was a talented barrel racer and competed, a time she often remembered fondly. Her connection to animals remained with her always. She loved her dogs and would always talk about Ice and Shadow.

Family was important in Loretta's life. As years slipped away she came to appreciate even more how precious family, love, and time together truly are. Like all families, there were imperfect moments along the way, but through it all there was love.

Loretta is survived by her daughter, Susan Hill and her husband, Matthew Hill; her son, Bill Davis and his wife, Chere Davis; her sisters, Sunny Laub and Jo DeMaio; as well as eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Neff and Lucille Kizer; her brother, Harold Boone; her beloved son, Rennie Davis, who passed away September 2020; and her grandson, Edward Davis, who passed away in September 2018.

Her passing leaves an empty place in the hearts of those who loved her, but the memories she created and the love she leaves behind will remain.

Loretta will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
