“Allow the light and the healing presence of Christ to shine brightly through your lives. In that way, all those who come in contact with you will discover the loving kindness of God.”
— St. Pope John Paul II
Julia Hilario Bansil, born on February 7, 1952 in Pulilan, Bulacan, Philippines, was called to her eternal home on July 15, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Affectionately known as Julia, she was a beacon of light in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her earthly journey was characterized by love, compassion, and an unwavering faith in God. Her passing has created a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and countless others whose lives she touched. We encourage you to remember her not for the circumstances of her passing, but for the rich life she lived and the profound impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her.
Julia is survived by her sons, Nelson and Lloyd; her daughter-in-law, Stella. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Julia Mae, Anthony, Koen, and Ayen; her brother, Victor, and her sister-in-law, Bebs. Along with a loving community of cousins and family who cherished her joyful spirit.
Though a quiet woman, Julia’s kindness and love spoke volumes. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, such as preparing meals for visitors and watching Filipino and Korean dramas. Content with the patterns of her life, Julia treasured time spent with family, whether sharing peaceful moments together or celebrating holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Family gatherings brought her great delight, especially knowing she could relax, enjoy the company and not have to cook!
As a pillar of strength and support, Julia was always there for her loved ones, offering unwavering encouragement without judgment or questions. In her final days, while receiving medical care, she turned to the rosary for solace, sharing her resilience and hope with those around her. Julia brought laughter to every moment, her smile brightening any room.
Rest in eternal peace, Julia. May you be free from worry and pain, enveloped in the unconditional love of all who cared for you. Please watch over us as we learn to navigate life without you, carrying your memory in our hearts.
We love you, forever in our hearts and minds.
