John Stephen Hefley II

John Stephen Hefley II passed away on January 6, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on April 6, 1982, in Aurora, Colorado, and spent much of his childhood in King George, Virginia. He graduated magna cum laude from Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a licensed CPA. He loved traveling, hiking, biking, and visiting National Parks with his beloved dog Westley. His travels took him to all 50 states and 15 foreign countries.

He is survived by his mother, Sherry Sharrow (Joe); his father, John Hefley (Joan); brothers Adam Sharrow (Sarah) and Grant Goebel; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. John will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the National Park Foundation or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in lieu of flowers.
