Jc Mcdaniel

JC McDaniel of Las Vegas, passed away on April 8, 2023, at home.

JC was born on December 22, 1947, in Village, Arkansas. He was a dedicated employee of the Tropicana Hotel for 40 years.

JC is survived by his daughter, Ruby Brown of Las Vegas, NV; his son Mark Brown of Las Vegas, NV; four brothers, DC McDaniel of Village Arkansas; AC McDaniel (Hazel) of Waldo, Arkansas; LC McDaniel (Faye) of Hollis Oklahoma; and Kenneth McDaniel (Shirley) of Fort Worth, Texas; four sisters, Dora Blanks of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Janis Strickland of Mansfield, Texas; Mary Lynn Mccoy (Tommy) and Jackie Campbell (Joe) both of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren, Anthony Brown, Allen McFarland, Andre McFarland and Brian Lang all of Las Vegas, NV; one uncle LS McDaniel; one aunt Florene Sargent, both of Muskegon, Michigan; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

JC was preceded in death by his mother and father, Rosie and Floyd McDaniel; stepmother, Aretha McDaniel; two brothers, John C McDaniel and James Eric McDaniel; and one sister Flora Hudson.

A memorial service for JC will be held on April 27, 2023, at 12pm at Davis Funeral Home, located at 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd in Las Vegas, NV, 89146. Family and friends are invited to attend to honor JC's life and pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of condolences be made to the family in JC's memory.
