James Cziperle

James Jim Cziperle, 65, of North Las Vegas, NV passed away Tuesday, May 10. He was born May 18, 1945 in Hammond, IN to Zoltan and Mathilda Cziperle. He grew up in Northwest Indiana, aka The Region. He graduated from Purdue University in 1967. On February 10, 1968, he married Sue Berta, his best friend and wife of 43 years. Jim worked as a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 33 years. He and his wife lived in many cities early in his career, but they eventually settled in Schererville, IN to raise their four children.
Jim, known as Zip to his friends, enjoyed coaching his kids childhood sports teams. He also loved fishing and traveling. He was an avid sports fan, and really enjoyed following his favorite teams, Da Bears and the Cubs. Some of the best gettogethers throughout the years were spent with family and friends on ball fields, at tailgates, in the bleachers, and on road trips.
In 2003, he and his wife retired to North Las Vegas. It soon turned into a semiretirement as he became a consultant with the US Attorneys Office in Las Vegas for 6 years. Jims favorite moments included maintaining and enjoying his picturesque backyard and visiting with his children and his beautiful granddaughters. He is survived by his wife, Sue of North Las Vegas, NV four children: Karen Jeff Morelock of Arvada, CO, Laura Gary McCamey of Las Vegas, NV, Jim Alanna Cziperle of Chicago, IL, and John Cziperle of Tacoma five grandchildren: Anna, Lily, Paige, Jenna, and Sydney and his buddy Mia.
There are no services scheduled. Sue and the kids would like to thank all of their family and friends who have given them an unbelievable amount of love and support during this difficult time.
