Helen Marie Henry Bauer, 88, passed away Dec. 19, 2011. She was born at home on the Rural Seneca, Kan. farm, Jan. 24, 1923. She worked in Topeka, Kan. as a machinist making parts for the war effort. As a seamstress all her life, she did many alternations and sewing for many people who had become and remain lasting dear friends. Helen suffered many health problems, all the while continuing working at her sewing machine. Her loving husband, Orville, passed away May 18, 2008, after 55 years of blessed marriage, leaving a great void in this household. Helen was also preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Catherine brothers, James and Carl and sisters, Delores, Majorie and Geraldine. Helen is survived by two sons, Ronald and Darrel, both of Las Vegas three grandchildren, Michael, Rhonda and Nadeen, all of Las Vegas one greatgranddaughter, Hannah sister, Mary Donald Myers of Sunset, Utah and many nieces and nephews. Catholic Mass and services are pending. Inurnment will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery for both Orville and Helen at a later date.
