Goldie Reed

Goldie Mae Reed, 84, of Las Vegas, passed away April 20, 2011. She was born August 11, 1927, in Texarkana, Texas, and resided in Nevada for 50 years.

Goldie was married for 50 years prior to her husband passing. She chose not to work, but stayed home to raise her eight children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reed and three children: sons, Zerry Reed of Las Vegas, and David Reed of Las Vegas and daughter, Janet Reed of Monrovia, California.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Elaine Anderson of Los Angeles, Douglas Reed of Las Vegas, Barbara Wyatt of Las Vegas, Deborah Cooks, soninlaw, Anthony Cooks of Las Vegas, and Michelle Reed of Las Vegas. She had 25 grandchildren a host of greatgrandchildren two greatgreatgrandchildren nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
