Gene A Stokes

Gene Aurthur Stokes, 85, passed away March 12, 2026

He was Born in Fremont, Ohio, March 14, 1940

He served for 4 years (1959-1962) in the Navy as a

Sonarman and 20 years in the Air Force (1963-1979)

Teaching Electronic Counter measures as well as

Avionics.

He was in Vietnam (1967-1968) at which time he

was awarded “The Bronze Star Medal” for

Meritorious Service.

He is survived by wife Carolyn, two sons Aaron and

Warren and one grandson Tyler. 3 sisters Barbara, Arlene

and Diane.

The burial will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery

Boulder City, Nevada on April 7th, 2026, at 10:40 am
