In Loving Memory of Elaine Allison Heaukulani (Ford)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine Allison Heaukulani (Ford), beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, treasured friend, and unwavering advocate for those in need. Elaine passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 52.
Born on December 14, 1973, Elaine lived a life marked by compassion, authenticity, and fierce loyalty to the people she loved. She married the love of her life, John, on March 28, 1999, beginning a marriage that spanned more than twenty-seven years and creating a lifetime of memories together.
Elaine worked as a dedicated customer service professional with Foundever, where her genuine personality and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on both customers and coworkers. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, making strangers feel like friends.
Family was the center of Elaine’s world. She was a loving mother to Amanda, Connor, Sebastian, and Lucien. Her children were her greatest source of pride and joy, and she poured her heart into raising them with unwavering love and encouragement.
Her love extended far beyond her own family. Elaine opened her heart and her home to those in need, offering kindness, acceptance, and a place where people felt safe and welcome. She believed everyone deserved compassion, understanding, and someone who believed in them. Through countless quiet acts of generosity, she made a lasting difference in the lives of many, often without seeking recognition or thanks.
Elaine had a gift for making people feel welcome. She loved cooking for family, friends, and even strangers, believing that a warm meal could speak volumes when words were not enough. During the holidays, she joyfully baked her famous sugar cookies completely from scratch. She delighted in searching for new holiday cookie cutters, carefully mixing homemade icing, and creating cookies that seemed to melt in your mouth. For those lucky enough to receive them, they became more than a holiday treat. They became a tradition, a memory, and a reminder of how much Elaine cared.
Whether she was singing karaoke, dancing the night away with friends in the local goth community, or decorating holiday cookies in the kitchen, Elaine embraced life wholeheartedly and encouraged everyone around her to do the same. She lived unapologetically as herself, and that authenticity gave others permission to do the same.
Those who knew Elaine often described her as genuine and painfully honest. She spoke the truth even when it was difficult, loved deeply even when it hurt, and never pretended to be anyone other than herself. Her honesty came from a place of sincerity, and her authenticity was one of her greatest gifts. It inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Elaine leaves behind her devoted husband, John; her beloved children, Amanda, Connor, Sebastian, and Lucien; along with many family members, dear friends, and countless people whose lives were forever changed by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering belief in them.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her love, strength, generosity, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. The measure of a life is found not in its length but in the love it leaves behind, and Elaine left behind a lifetime of love.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the remarkable woman whose light touched so many.
To me, she wasn’t just my wife. She was my best friend, my favorite voice to hear, my partner through every season of life, and the person who forever changed what love means. Every holiday, every song, every freshly baked cookie, and every act of kindness will remind me of her. I will carry her in my heart for the rest of my days.
Elaine’s life reminds us that the greatest legacy we leave behind is not measured by what we own, but by the love we give, the people we lift up, and the memories we create together. Her story lives on in every life she touched, and she will remain forever in our hearts.
