Donald Tussing Sr.

Donald R. Tuss Tussing Sr. passed away July 9, 2011, at the age of 77. He was born Nov. 10, 1933, in Baldwin, Mich. Don was a longtime resident of Las Vegas. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired member of IBEW 357. Don loved being outdoors and spent time at the sand dunes with family and friends. He could build and fix just about anything and spent many hours in the garage tinkering and fixing things for someone else. Don was a caring person who helped many people over the years. He will be missed greatly. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Arlette Christiansen parents, George and Gertrude Tussing and brother, Dave Tussing. He is survived by his son, Don Tussing Jr. stepson, Danny Oglesbee four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
