Corinne Ashley Johnson
She was known as Corinne, Rin, The Show - because she was always “Show Style” and “Baby Show” We remember her hilarious laugh, one-liner jokes that just fell out of her mouth and left us all in gut busting stitches. She had a loving spirit, was compassionate, empathetic, and loyal. She loved her Dad, her Mother, her brother Aaron – aka “Duckie”, her Birth Mother, Charley and Katey – aka MommaKate. She gave wonderful hugs to those she loved.
Corinne loved school, especially reading, and writing poetry. She loved reading so much and was a fast reader – she read 3.2 million words which was more than the librarian and in the entire county the summer between 5th and 6th grade. She won an award for how many words she read. She secretly hid books from Dad so after lights out for bed, she would sneak them out from their hiding places.
Anyone who knew Corinne would tell you that they loved her; that she had done something that they will always remember We will all miss her so much, but we will never forget her – she will live in our hearts forever and we take comfort knowing that she is with Jesus.
Corinne’s birth mother, Charley Barlow, gave the gift of Corinne to her adoptive parents F. Matthew Johnson and Nancy J. Rawlings and her extended family.
Corinne is survived by her parents, her stepmother, Kate Coronado-Johnson, her brother Aaron D. Johnson, Charley Barlow and Corinne’s biologic siblings Dareyenne Barlow, Tylar Jones, Greyson Jones and Evahn Barlow.
