Charles Sterling
March 4, 1928 — January 23, 2011
Charles E. Sterling, 82, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 23, 2011. He was born March 4, 1928, near Liberty, Miss., and was a 17year resident of Las Vegas. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving from 19461968. He also retired from the Department of Defense at the Long Beach Naval Shipyard in 1987. Charles enjoyed singing and playing his guitars, motorcycling, boating and cars. Charles is survived by his wife, of 30 years, Marsha his sons, Michael, David Dawn and Charles Joy brothers, J.W., Aubry and James and four grandchildren. Interment will be at the Riverside Veterans National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif.
