Louis-Jacques
July 23, 1949 – June 3, 2026
Charles Louis-Jacques Jr., a proud veteran and resident of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 76.
Born in Haiti on July 23, 1949, Charles embodied the spirit of determination and resilience. As a young man, he immigrated to the United States, embarking on a journey defined by hard work, honor, and a deep commitment to building a bright future.
In service to his adopted country, Charles enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served with distinction for nine years. He rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant and utilized his sharp intellect as a weather forecaster. Following his honorable discharge in 1982, Charles brought his strong work ethic and natural ability to connect with people into the civilian world, working for various retail companies over the years.
Outside of work, Charles knew how to appreciate life's finest moments. Among his fondest memories were the fishing trips with his brothers, a pastime he truly treasured. He was also an avid sports fan, always full of energy and enthusiasm when rooting for his favorite teams. Above all, he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his three children, his four grandchildren, his siblings, and the extended family and friends who will carry on his memory.
