Bruce N. Taylor of Las Vegas died at home on October 8, 2023. Bruce was 72 years old. He was born to Dolores and Glenn Taylor on December 5, 1950 in Phoenix, AZ. Bruce lived in Las Vegas for more than 60 years. Bruce graduated from Clark High School and attended a year of studies at UNLV. Bruce was a proud member of the United States Navy serving 2 tours in Vietnam and received 4 Bronze Stars with Meritorious Unit Commendations.
Bruce was employed at many Las Vegas casinos. He spent 29 years in casino management at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 35 years Peggy Sullivan of Las Vegas, two sons; Shawn M Taylor of Great Falls, MT and Andrew S. Taylor (Amber) of Dahlonega, GA. Bruce is also survived by four siblings; Sam Taylor (Bonnie) of Sandy Valley, NV, Audie Levine of Las Vegas, NV, Glenn Taylor (Diane) of Newberry, FL, and Heidi Garner (Don) of Boca Grande, FL. Bruce was a proud grandfather of three grandchildren; Aiden, Amelia and Adelyn Taylor of Dahlonega, GA. He is also survived by a host of numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday December 7, 2023 at 12:00 noon (prompt) at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005. A luncheon will be held to honor Bruce immediately following the service. Details will be provided at the services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude’s Research Hospital for Children.
