Angela Johnson was born on June 10th 1977 to Gina Johnson and Richard Hayes in Los Angeles, California. She was the second girl out of seven children, six girls and one boy. Essentially the leader out of her siblings from an early age. She knew who she wanted to be and promised herself it would happen. There wasn’t a problem that she couldn’t endure without a smile on her face.

She leaves behind six beautiful children Richard, Dante (Jazzline), Jahnae, Legacy, Deroyce , and Chance along with her grandson Mateo. Angela dedicated her life and time to her kids. Even when they drove her crazy she’d tell you they were her purpose.

Before retiring, she dedicated 26 years to the City of North Las Vegas in Recreations & Aquatics. Making her career solely about helping those of the community. Whether it be through toy drives, fundraisers, events, and giving whatever was necessary to those in need. Even dedicating her personal time to helping whom she could. Angela was the community superwoman who was able to make anything happen and if she couldn’t figure it out she’d find a way.

She loved to spend time having fun while making people laugh hysterically. Angela loved to travel and experiencing whatever she could at least once. From cruises and all inclusive resorts to whatever crazy thing she could find.

Angela was called back home after 49 years on July 8th 2026. There are people in this world sent to truly make a difference no matter how big or small the impact may be. She was a true angel with the biggest heart whom was taken to soon but will never be forgotten. As her legacy will forever live on through her family, friends, and community.
