Andrew Tyler Giles

It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our brother, Andrew Tyler Giles, age 42, on April 20, 2026, following a sudden medical emergency at his home in Nevada. Andy was a deeply loved son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend to many. A sweet and gentle soul, Andy had a rare way of making everyone around him feel truly loved and valued.

Andy found joy in life's simple pleasures-Chicago sports, his beloved dogs (and truly every dog, as he seemed to know every one in town), fishing, sunrises, mountain views, tracking the weather, escaping Chicago winters for the desert, and enjoying Lou Malnati's pizza. A dedicated and hardworking professional, Andy will be dearly missed by his colleagues at Boulder City Disposal.

Andy is survived by his mother, Kristine Giles; his sister Anita Templeman (Brian) and nephews Axel and Owen Templeman; his brother Stephen Giles; and his sister Carolyn Giles (Theodore Kotas). He was preceded in death by his father, Tyler Giles.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Andy's memory may be made to the Boulder City Animal Shelter, 810 Yucca Street, Boulder City, NV 89005.
